I am an Imp!

I made it. Can't describe my happiness -- but euphoric is close. The only potential downside is that this might mean I have to nix my audition for Top Gun: The Musical. A tradeoff I am more than willing to make. Honestly, I feel like this is the perfect follow-up to the Groundlings experience and the perfect compliment to my course of study here at Oxford. Huzzah!

Dear Becca G, Christopher, Brad, Andy, Amy, Joe, and Becca B,
Congratulations! We've selected you to join the Oxford Imps! You should be very proud to have made it. We have never had an audition anywhere close to that large, and your competition was very good. We're all really looking forward to performing with you and getting to know you. It's good times ahead...Our next rehearsal, which I'd like you to be at, is this Sunday 2-5 at Magdalen college auditorium. We'll meet at Magdalen college lodge at 1.55 and go to the auditorium from there. Please bring your schedules for the term (and preferably for the year, if you have them). We'll be deciding on a weekly rehearsal time then. For you in particular, I want also to arrange some extra rehearsals apart from the general group ones we have, to teach you the games and styles of scene that we do and the basics of improv. I anticipate having you rehearse with us for about a term before you go on stage. That may change as we go along (it might be more, it might be less time) but that is the provisional plan. Thanks again for auditioning, and I look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Best,
Jim
